I'm suspecting the only three things I have left to suspect: the windows 7 installation itself, the incredible amount of HP bloatware. When I try to display system info using the MSCONFIG command it can take as much as 30 seconds. I plug in a usb and it takes around a minute before the system actually "sees" it in my computer. Is it just my imagination or should this baby be lightning fast? I've run system cleaners Trash and temp cleaners, kaspersky rescue, bitdefender rescur and malwarebytes, and still only very little improvement in speed. I have an hp Pavilion dv7 notebook with a 2.67ghz Intel i5 core and 8gb of memory running windows 7.
